Eco Credentials
While hosting guests in these ecologically unique and sensitive environments, we make a firm commitment to the principles of sustainability and conservation. Each aspect of our camps: from energy usage to waste disposal; our choice of linen; recycling of bottles (we filter our own water and do not use plastic mineral water bottles) and our use of eco-certified cleaning materials has been carefully planned to minimise our impact on the land and we are constantly reviewing and improving our strategies. Our investment in solar power at our camps is aimed at minimising our carbon emissions.Bamurru Plains

Each camp on the property was built in a natural clearing and swag decks and bathrooms are raised from the ground, with native bush providing natural cover. There is no electricity in the camps, and light is provided by camp fire, lanterns and rechargable torches. On the property itself, our guides have endeavoured to restore the land to what it was before European settlement. Successful conservation programs have been put in place across the property, focussing primarily on feral species eradication and reversing the impacts of years of livestock grazing. This work has had some exciting results - 10 confirmed sightings of new bird species, 2 established colonies of near threatened yellow-footed rock wallabies and a significant increase in sightings of kangaroos and reptiles.
