Lunar Eclipse

On the 15th of June 2011, the world observed the largest Lunar Eclipse. This incredible phenomenon, known as a deep lunar eclipse, often exudes a coppery colour, but was enhansed because of the amount of ash in the atmosphere.  It was the longest lunar eclipse in a decade.

The total lunar eclipse was visable for over 100 minutes in different parts of Asia, Europe and Africa. People in Australia, Singapore and India were the first to see the beautiful eclipse.
