Luxury Lodges of Australia

Kuri Bay is a haven for remote tropical sports fishing

Australia’s Kimberley region is regarded as one of the last remaining wilderness areas on earth and the ultimate destination for remote tropical sports fishing.

Kuri Bay is located in one of the most remote areas of the Kimberley which only serves to enhance the mystique of this region and lure guests who want to escape mainstream fishing destinations and experience a wilderness location like no other.

The purity of this environment makes for unbelievable fishing and the waters are abundant with fish including Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Threadfin Salmon, Giant Trevally, Tuna, Queen Fish and more.

In preparation for our 'wet season' fishing period from February - March 2012 some of our staff tested out the waters and in two separate 5 hour sessions caught 7 different species and over 30+ fish - all just within 25 minutes of the bay!
